Assignment 2: Tutorial and Peer-to-Peer Sharing
This exercise Studio session will enable you to share and discuss your work and the work of other students.
Add documentation of 2 or 3 works to the Creative Arts Studio Padlet, and list some questions and pointers that anchor the discussion with your peers in the most useful way for you. You can access, use and comment on the Studio session Padlet at any time, alongside booking onto a live zoom event to discuss your work in person.
POETRY IN MOTION
In this part of my study, I will discuss human relations and how blood relations form, evolve, and progress. My main principle will be poetry.
Considering the Skill Lab Padlet and the valuable tools I have acquired through my study, I have created three poetic forms based on various techniques I have acquired and practised.
The study of poetry is a transformative journey, igniting a myriad of ideas and thoughts, nurturing creativity, and unveiling innovative ways of expressing emotions. It acts as a catalyst for profound introspection, leading to a deeper comprehension of the human experience. In essence, poetry study is a gateway to imagination and self-discovery.
The skills hub has given me valuable and practical information. It has opened a new window of knowledge regarding types of poetry, techniques, and styles, providing food for thought and excellent material from which to study and draw inspiration to create new forms of poetry and explore more unknown parts of this beautiful art.
Discussing the subject with my peers, sharing their points of view, and getting a different perspective will benefit my understanding, enrich my perspective on how I see my work and how to improve it, and, more than anything, help me determine if my message is clear.
I eagerly anticipate your comments and insights, which I believe will be instrumental in further refining my understanding of poetry and its impact on human relations.
Write a reflection on the feedback and experience of showing and discussing your and others’ work. What ideas has this sparked and how might you continue to build on and develop your Skills Hub work? This assignment requires you to contact another OCA student and discuss each other’s work, sharing your opinions and perspectives and recording or documenting your conversation within your Learning Log. This could be in the form of a shared Padlet space to add work to comment on and raise questions to respond to, or a video call conversation.
Tutorial
Once you have completed the sharing and discussion activity with the documentation on your Learning Log, share the content via this assignment activity to notify your tutor who will arrange a tutorial with you to discuss your progress and the peer feedback you have received and offered.
Remember to update your Learning Log/blog with your work from the Skills Hub micro-course and formulate any questions you would like to address.
